dutch graphic archive

The foundation Dutch Archive Graphic Designers (NAGO) aims at the preservation and accessibility of the archives of Dutch graphic designers. The contents stem from collections of NAGO, the Poster Museum and ReclameArsenaal as well as from portfolios of independent designers and agencies in this line of business.

The content is the focal point and the design serves the content. That is the basic idea behind the style and the basis in taking design decisions. This idea has, among other things, lead to a five column grid which may be flexibly used, similar to the design of a magazine. In addition, the website will get a public area, in which visitors can – in accordance with the Wiki setup - add their own work and information to the site. Furthermore, visitors have the opportunity to respond to information and images on the website and add (biographical) information themselves.
